Anvil Engineered was founded in 2023 by Randall Johnson (PE) to meet demand for innovative, rapid, and results-driven designing and engineering in the exploration drilling industry. We specialize in drilling rigs, downhole tooling, and equipment optimization. Randall has 15 years of experience in the drilling industry and has worked around the globe.

Anvil Engineered was forged to meet the rigorous demands of the drilling industry. We know first-hand that complex and challenging drilling projects must be properly engineered from the outset.

Every project has unique needs, and the right tools for the job don’t always come standard off-the-shelf. Anvil Engineered tackles these issues by providing vetted and engineered customized equipment and tooling upgrades specific to your unique requirements.

At Anvil Engineered, we love to get our hands dirty. We will travel to your jobsite and be your engineering resource on the ground.

We know that time is money, and our goal is to prevent and minimize downtime for our clients. In the event that a client is experiencing problems onsite, Anvil will conduct a Failure Analysis to identify the problem and implement solutions, including redesigning or modifying problem equipment or consumables.
